 Over thirty years ago, I nervously attended my first yoga class and was immediately hooked by the physical and mental benefits. That moment marked the beginning of a lifelong journey and interest with yoga, which has led to the opening of  OLIVE TREE YOGA Dalham.
I have been teaching yoga for over 12 years, with more than 3,000 hours of experience; in addition to my foundational training, I hold certifications in Yin and Restorative Yoga, and have further specialized in Sports Yoga with Sarah Ramsden.  I’ve had the pleasure of teaching in some wonderful studios across Suffolk and Cambridge, including The Self Centre in Bury St Edmunds, Inner Guidance Retreat in Lavenham, The WellBeing Warehouse in Newmarket, and the Cambridge University Sports Centre and 10 years ago, I opened my first studio offering regular classes, workshops, and private sessions. Since relocating to Dalham in 2020, I’ve created a new beautiful yoga space and look forward to sharing the many physical, mental, and emotional benefits that yoga can bring with you.

GROUP CLASSES : Open to all—no matter what your experience or ability. Each class is designed to be inclusive, with personalized attention, modifications, and adjustments to support your individual progress. Drawing from a blend of styles including Hatha, Flow, Yin, and Restorative, my sessions offer a well-rounded and enriching yoga experience that nurtures both body and mind.

Yoga Basics offers a foundational introduction or refresher to yoga, covering essential postures and styles like Hatha, Yin, and Kundalini, alongside breathwork to enhance flexibility, strength, and focus. Yoga Flow builds stamina and muscle through dynamic sequences, ending with restorative poses that nourish deeper connective tissues.

PRIVATE 1:1 A personalized 60-minute class designed around your schedule, level, and yoga goals. Private sessions can also be customized for two people.

TAKE A LOOK

I’m not flexible – can I still do yoga?
Yes! Yoga is literally for every body – not just the bendy ones. Flexibility is something you gain with yoga, not something you need to start. Just show up as you are – your body (and mind!) will thank you for it.

How will I feel after class?
Hopefully amazing! You might feel a bit achy at first as your muscles and joints wake up in new ways. Tight areas like hips, shoulders, hamstrings, and core will start to open up – all in a good way!

What do I need to begin?
Just your lovely self, comfy clothes, a curious mind, and a light snack in your belly. Hydrate well, and you’re ready to roll (or stretch… or breathe).

Anything else?
Yes! Yoga is about mind and body – expect better sleep, reduced stress, sharper focus, and a calmer nervous system. It’s not just about poses – it’s a full-body, whole-being reset.

IMPORTANT: Please let me know about any injuries or health conditions (past or present). Yoga is adaptable – postures can be modified for any body. No need to be a gymnast or a superhero.
