Yoga for Golfers incorporates flexibility, strength, balance, core conditioning, and breath awareness to support a more powerful and efficient golf game.
4 week course (starting June 19th) THURSDAYS 19.00-20.00 will incorporate:
Flexibility
One of the most essential physical attributes for golf - can be significantly improved through yoga-based exercises and sequencing. These practices help increase range of motion in the golf swing, often restricted by short, tight muscles.
Strength
Targeted yoga movements build functional strength, especially in the legs, glutes, shoulders, and back—key muscle groups used throughout golf. Increased strength leads to greater clubhead speed and improved swing stability.
Balance
Yoga enhances proprioception and balance by training the body to maintain control in dynamic and static positions. Better balance improves weight transfer and consistency throughout all phases of the swing.
Core Conditioning
A strong, stable core is vital for rotational power and protecting the spine during your swing. Yoga develops deep core engagement, supporting both explosive motion and injury prevention.
Breath Awareness
Breath control in yoga cultivates mental focus and calm under pressure. Conscious breathing helps regulate tension, promote fluid movement, and sustain energy over a full round of golf.
Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, Yoga for Golfers can improve how you move, feel, and perform.
